Stop Sharing Passwords: Collaboration is Now Built into SwiftLingo

Managing a multilingual website is rarely a solo mission. But until now, collaborating often meant sharing logins or dealing with manual coordination. That ends today with the introduction of Organizations.

Scaling a business globally is hard enough. You shouldn’t have to worry about who has the password to your translation dashboard or whether a freelancer accidentally changed your SEO settings.

We’ve seen the workarounds: shared accounts, spreadsheets for coordination, and the “can you check this for me” Slack threads. It’s slow, it’s insecure, and it doesn’t scale.

SwiftLingo Organizations is our answer to that friction. We’ve moved from individual accounts to a workspace-centric model. It’s a cleaner, safer way to grow.

One Workspace, Many Sites

An Organization is your central hub. Instead of hopping between accounts, you have one dashboard for everything:

  • Unified Project Management: All your websites live in one place.
  • Centralized Billing: One subscription, one invoice, and a clear view of your total word quota. No more hunting for which site used which part of the plan.

Roles That Make Sense

Collaboration shouldn’t mean giving everyone the keys to the castle. We’ve introduced two primary roles to keep things secure:

  1. Admins: Full control. Billing, member management, and core site settings.
  2. Members: The doers. They can review translations, manage pages, and edit content without the risk of breaking your subscription or technical setup.

It’s simple: your translators can translate, and your marketers can manage content. Neither can accidentally delete your site. For a full breakdown of permissions, check out our Member Management guide.

Invite Your Team in Seconds

We built the invitation system to be as frictionless as possible. From your Organization page, you just enter an email, pick a role, and send.

The recipient gets a magic link and they’re in. No passwords to remember (or share), and no complex onboarding. You can find more details in our Organization Settings documentation.

Agencies and Freelancers

If you manage sites for multiple clients, this is for you. A single user can now be a member of multiple Organizations. You can jump between client environments with a single click, keeping data and billing completely isolated while maintaining your own workflow.

Growth is about removing bottlenecks. Organizations remove the collaboration bottleneck so you can get back to what matters: connecting with your customers, regardless of what language they speak.
