Getting your first project up and running with SwiftLingo is a straightforward process. This guide will walk you through the necessary steps to get your website translated and ready for a global audience.
Step 1: Analyze Your Needs
Before diving in, it’s important to understand your website’s translation requirements. Consider the total word count of your site and how frequently you update your content. This analysis will help you choose the most cost-effective subscription plan.
For more details on how word counts are calculated, please refer to our guide on Understanding Quota.
Step 2: Choose a Subscription Plan
Once you have an idea of your needs, head over to our pricing page and select the subscription plan that best fits your project. Whether you’re just starting out or have a large, dynamic website, we have a plan that’s right for you.
After signing up, you’ll be directed to your dashboard. From there, click on ‘Configure Website’. This is where you’ll provide SwiftLingo with the necessary information about your site, such as its URL and original language.
Step 4: Follow the Onscreen Instructions
The configuration wizard will guide you through the final steps, including DNS setup and installing the language switcher on your site. For a detailed walkthrough of this process, see our Quickstart Guide.
That’s it! Once you’ve completed these steps, SwiftLingo will begin translating your website. If you have any questions or run into any issues, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team.
